The Scandi behind the lens..
Pontus, known as The Snapping Scandi, is a street photographer born and raised in Sweden. With a background in theater, Pontus has spent many years immersed in the art of storytelling. Seeking a new creative outlet that allowed him to engage more directly with the world, he discovered street photography.
His work captures a theme surrounding the quiet moments of urban life, where solitude and inner reflection intersect with the noise and clammer of the outside world. Through his photos, Pontus looks to bring a fresh perspective to everyday scenes, creating images that show and induce a sense of calm and empathy.
